BINOCULARS

One day while my dear friend Tony was driving home with a beautiful, brand-new pair of binoculars, his excitement about the binoculars got the better of him. He held them up to his eyes just to take a look. Suddenly, he saw how close he was to the car ahead of him, and he slammed on the brakes.

How often do we worry about what might be on the road ahead of us, before we even get there? We get nervous, or excited; we're worried about what might happen in the future, and we miss out on what's happening today. In short, if you spend your life looking through binoculars, you’ll miss out on what’s right in front of you.
