TRADITIONAL WORSHIP | MAR 14

Mar 14, 2021

Now interestingly enough, in our Old Testament lesson, it says that God sent serpents among the whining people—at first, that sounds kind of vengeful. It sounds like God was so fed up with the people he just was going to send serpents and give them some pain just like they were giving him some pain, but I don't think that was the point of it, and I don't think that's really the way that God operates. Don't we sometimes have consequences that move people in the right direction? And, in fact, isn't it that consequences that often move us the right way? Now what I want you to know today is that even when there are consequences for our actions, God does not always remove those consequences. God often provides a way for us. And he does it because he loves us.
