TRADITIONAL WORSHIP | FEB 21
Feb 21, 2021
A covenant is something altogether different from a contract. It isn’t a fair trade. It is an agreement between a greater and a lesser. In this case, between God and His people. God is all-powerful. We aren’t. God owns everything. We don’t. There is no contest. We are not equal parties.
So God makes covenants; promises, he gives a whole lot and we give little—like acknowledging him and thanking him and trying to be thankful all our days. He is merciful and loving and amazing. He keeps his promises. We don’t always keep ours.
