There are many things that I have said in my life, but I think one of the things that I have said that has had the most impact on people is when I say, "how can I pray for you?" I know when people have prayed for me, I am humbled and so thankful for them and for their caring and their willingness to pray. I find myself thanking God for them.

Jesus prays for us. That's what today's Gospel is about. Jesus prays for his disciples, and that's pretty neat. But he doesn't just pray for them, he prays for us too.
